FAQ
What is this site about?
Miniml is a site dedicated to breaking the complexity of todays UI scrpting languages (ActionScript, JavaScript, Flex) by simplifying things. Miniml is committed in the research of creative coding and the deconstruction of complex, sometimes over-engineered scripts into simple and understandable execution. To create you need to simplify and then try to extend.
Why isn't Reflektions.com | miniml code using OOP techniques?
Reflektions.com | miniml tries to deconstruct over engineered OOP code. This is not to say that I do not believe in writing classes and using patterns. Instead I adopted a spiking approach. Spiking refers to creating a throw-away experiment during development. Spiking is useful both at the very beginning of a project, where there may be technical issues that you are not sure exactly how to handle and throughout the lifetime of the project. They are sort of quick tests, throw-away code where the goal is to maximize the fluidity and charisma of an experiment while normalizing the code by optimizing its mathematics. In essence what make Reflektions.com | miniml experiments so popular is their straightforwardness that can easily be converted into a class and part of an overall OOP project.
Why do you charge for your code?
I don’t! the code is available for free on the site and on top of it all

I like your experiment but want to tweak it, can you work for me?
The answer is no. These experiments require some intermediate scripting knowledge - and are given "AS IS" and it would be very hard for me to give tech support on these files. As far as working for hire, contact me if interested, although a heads up; my hourly wage is steep.
